ANY product used on the floor or sprayed into the air has a potential to harm pets.. do not fool yourself into thinking all chemicals are safe...

since pets are smaller they have smaller lungs and so air borne contaminants are hard on them over time.. however since most pets have short lifespans and few people take pets to vets as much as we go to doctors.. problems dont show up as often.. fact is that second only to accidents the number one killer of pets is CANCER - some of these cancers are directly related to feeding low qualtiy foods (ingredients like BHT, BHA, byproducts) and some are related to household cleaners and sprays...

No, I haven't heard that. I doubt that it is true, otherwise, there would be warnings on it somewhere. The best way to find out is to get an 800 # or look up the company on the internet and contact them. They will be able to give you accurate info on their products. You can't always trust the rumors.

I think it is some kind of "urban myth". I am glad you have stopped though. I use chemicals, chlorox and stuff like that very sparingly in my household. It all ends up in the environment and is not healthy for life on this planet.

We evolved to be pretty healthy and well-adapted to "germs" and dirt in our lives.

Warm water, a mild soap and elbow grease can accomplish most cleaning jobs.

It's just a rumor. I had heard that too and I passed it along to many of my animal loving friends...some of who are in the business of rescuing animals or working with them in some fashion.

My friends quickly put me straight. It is an urban legend. There are no truths to it.

No, it's a hoax that has been going around on the internet. If you check the box it will tell you about the safety of pets with these products. Don't believe every weirdo you hear.

I've heard that kinda thing, too, but with Febreeze. I have no evidence to support or refute either.

Yes, I've heard it and then I looked on Snopes which says it's false.

I would probably recomend you letting the floor dry before letting your cats on it. I've never heard that before.
