if I've filed bankruptcy? I already have one credit card that I recieved, but it's not enough to build my credit back up to what I would like. Any suggestions?

Go through your bank or credit union. If you are not a member in a credit union, join one and the ask about the secured cards. Orchard Bank and the like charge higher interest rates.

use the card that you have responsibly for a few months, and other offers should statrt coming in. If not, or in the mean while, open a checking acct. and keep some type of money in it. This is also an establishment of credit. Get a gas credit card. These are all good tradelines that will look good for you to rebuild your credit.Don't forget to pay your bills ON TIME!

Be happy that you got the card to start with. Most cbrs will raise if you only have 1 or 2 cards and no store cards.
