anyone suggest me about how or from where can i get dummy software projects to get an idea about the course?

hello everyone , i have done a software course and now i would like to do two or three projects to get an idea about the course , even the dummy projects are ok. as the theory is completely different from practical implementation.

Have you done studyin a non professional college
or Your Trainer are not well enough to tell you how to make a project.

Some time i surprise How can One Get Admission in Such College. WHere Students are not even Taught How to make a project.
