Your stomach will not get smaller with all the crunches and situps. Crunches will usually make your stomach bigger as your abdomen muscles bulk up. To make your waist smaller, you need aerobic exercise, such as running, biking, aerobic dancing and swimming. I suggest reducing the crunches and stepping up the aerobic exercise.

Good luck with your body shaping! It sounds like you're doing most of the right things.

You should start by eating better than just fruits and vegtables, you also need protein and carbs. Carbs help repair your body after you work out. If you aren't getting enough calories during the day your body will think it's startving and you will continue to have trouble loosing weight because your body will store everything it gets. Even if you did sucessfully loose weight you would gain it back quickly once you started eating normally again. You shouldn't expect to or try to loose more than 1-2 lbs a week, anything more is unhealthy.

Next, don't do so many crunches & situps, the only thing they do is strenghten the muscles, not get rid of fat and it sounds like your overdoing it just a bit. It is much better to do fewer and try harder then to do less and not do them correctly. Plus you might end up hurting your back.

Continue to do aerobics and drink water, that is what is going to help you loose weight. Don't over do it though, you'll just end up hurting yourself and then you will have to wait to start working out again.

Well first off you will need to go on a diet. Cut out every junkfoods you have and if you get hungry in the afternoon try drinking water to make yourself full. Next try sleeping early, because you will need to wake up early in the morning to jog for 1 hour, minimum of 30 minutes(DO NOT eat anything except for a banana and a glass of water before you run in the morning). After that try running 3 more times in the afternoon (1hour or 30 minutes each jog) Try not to stop while you r jogging, at at the same pace. Do different types of abominal exercises(crunches, situps, reverse leg crunch, side crunch, captain's chair etc.)Choose 3 exercises for your abs, and do 2 sets of 35 reps or more for each exercise every hour, if you can. stretch out your abs before and after you work them out. One last tip, DO NOT EAT PAST SIX O'CLOCK.Do this 6 days a week

for how long? these things take time, perhaps you should consult a doctor or fitness proffessional.

Its also my personal thought that you're not getting proper nutrition. Your body needs fats carbs and sugars. If you're eating alot of fruit there should be enough natural sugar in there, but never cut something completely out of your diet. Nothing good can come of that. If your body is not getting something it needs it will shut down and you will NOT lose weight as it will go into ration mode and want to preserve what it has stored away and you will not lose weight.

As a famous person once said, "Fats and proteins burn in the fires of carbohydrates." So do not give up carbs!! They are the fuel in your body. Just balance your fats-proteins-carbs and then keep your total daily caloric intake consistent...figure that out by your weight, age, etc. and stick to it no matter what. For example, put yourself on a 1400 calorie a day diet and see what happens. Spread the 1400 over the three groups.

Hi
Sometimes a simple plan like this one can help you so here goes,
If you are serious about losing weight, the calories in the food you eat should be less than the energy you use. You will have to increase your metabolic rate now, and plan your diet carefully.
Formulate your own weight loss plan and you will lose weight faster. More details available at http://tinyurl.com/m7ckx

good luck

Ok well honey I am confused cuz in one of your questions you were great and happy, now you are obsessing about your weight and you are only 13, do you go to school? No issues here I just hope that you remembered to take your meds, and I do not know what else to say.

how long have you been doing it? these things take time

Also you need to go to the gym and do a full body work out. ab crunches and sit ups wont make your stomach go down alone, thats just a silly myth

also dont cut corners. drinking alcohol or cheating secretly wont help

Hey Trista I just looked at your previous questions and found out that you are 13.

DON'T WORRY about it - your next growth spurt will take care of that for you.

I would not worry about a few pounds at your age...
