extremely i've got faith that there become in basic terms one baby born on 06/06/06...and it become a woman. So i assume that blows all the little spoof out of the water besides... yet I have no concern with the call Lucifer...i be conscious of, i be conscious of the religous element; yet Lucifer potential "mild bearer" or "morning action picture star"...and King Lucifer of Babylon become one heck of a King. yet i would not call any of MY toddlers Lucifer...only because of the fact there are some nuts obtainable that could attempt to kill him, or worship him...which only isn't a solid element.

I saw a program how people think the sign of the beast is 666 but really scholars of the bible truly 616. But I have always thought the name Lucifer is an excellent name. I think it has a nice flow. But for the fact it is related to pure evil I would never name my kid that.

One would think that parents that love their child would try their utmost to avoid future pain and ridicule for their beloved child! You both have some serious issues if in fact this question is not a stuuuupid fabrication which I dearly hope it is! Not starting off as good parents as far as I can tell. Is there a history of mental abuse in your family?

It's not a name I would choose, simply for what the name says to a lot of people, evil, the devil, wicked, however if that was your choice the child will be loved by you , and from that love he will display qualities that will hopefully help people to overcome the translation people give to the name.

That is totally a respectible name for the date your son was born. I believe that its the right fit for him because both parents agree. However both of you (as parents) and the child (when he's older) will get some comments, because people aren't open minded enough to accept other peoples agreements and desires and personal wishes.

Always keep this is mind- people are going to talk about you might as well give them something to talk about

or you can aways say

keep talking, you're making me famous!

Congrats!

I'm not a bible thumper, but that is, uhhh, creepy. I feel sorry for the child, he will be tormented mercilessly. Just because my first name is Ken, I heard every friggin' Barbie joke and crack on the planet. Now, with a name like Lucifer.... Get the picture?

It's actually a nice sounding name - it means Light-barer. I think it depends on what your son grows up to be like. If he's easy going with a twisted sense of humor, then it will probably be fine... HOWEVER... you have to imagine what potential employers will think when they see Lucifer's resumee with his birthdate of 6.6.06! Does he have a normal middle name? Can he use that professionally?

Do you go to church? At one time Lucifer was the most beautiful angel in all of heaven but now Lucifer is doomed to hell. So you decide whether you beleive it is a good name or not because you will have to answer to that when you stand before God.

I think it is kind of morbid, but it is your child and no one has the athority to name/judge him. When he is older, if he does not like his name he may go by a nickname, though. The only real problem I would think of is if he turns out to be really religious, that could present a problem.

Are you kidding me? Have you thought about the teasing and bullying your child is going to go through once he get's to school. This is going to affect his confidence and it overall growing up being called "THE DEVIL". Just for kicks, what is going to be his petname? How about "LUCY"? Sounds right? Maybe you should ask your wife...and then you'll can agree on that again
