**God of the Bible - **
LOVE FROM GOD TO MAN
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." - John 3:16

LOVE FROM MAN TO GOD
"Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God." - 1 John 4:7

TREATMENT OF NONBELIEVERS
"But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil. Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful." - Luke 6:35-36

EQUALITY OF PEOPLE
"There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus." - Galatians 3:28

**God of the Koran -**
LOVE FROM GOD TO MAN
"Fight in the cause of Allah those who fight you, but do not transgress limits; for Allah loveth not transgressors." - 2:190

LOVE FROM MAN TO GOD
"And they feed, for the love of Allah, the indigent, the orphan, and the captive" - 76:008

(I had a hard time trying to find any that accurately represented how a person shows a godly love)

TREATMENT OF NONBELIEVERS
"But when the forbidden months are past, then fight and slay the Pagans wherever ye find them, an seize them, beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them in every stratagem (of war); but if they repent, and establish regular prayers and practise regular charity, then open the way for them: for Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful." - 9:005

EQUALITY OF PEOPLE
"Allah (thus) directs you as regards your Children's (Inheritance): to the male, a portion equal to that of two females: if only daughters, two or more, their share is two-thirds of the inheritance; if only one, her share is a half..." - 4:11 (in portion, though the rest applies as well)
"Say: "Shall I point out to you something much worse than this, (as judged) by the treatment it received from Allah? those who incurred the curse of Allah and His wrath, those of whom some He transformed into apes and swine, those who worshipped evil;- these are (many times) worse in rank, and far more astray from the even path!" " - 5:060 (previous verse in reference to Jews and Christians, saying that we are ones disobediant and rebellious)

You tell me, whether they are the same.

The Great acharyas(Spiritual Leaders) of India explained it this way...
The word for God in Sanskrit is Controller...
There can be many Controllers and each one of us may be natural controller in our Area,
But there is one Supreme Most Controller.. and that is what all Religion mentions, as what is called in English language as God...

This God does not have a Single Specific name, But is called by his devotees according to his Attributes, Activities, relationships etc ..
Hence its natural that God will have Different names in Different Language and even many names in a single Language too... But having many names as Allaha, Jehova, Krishna, etc does not make God many .....The Supreme controller is still One..
All these names of God are very very Powerful having the potency as God himself ....
Only people interested in making separate Community for them-selves, so that their Church Survive (and to get more donations for themsleves) will differentiate among these names and Call their name as "the only name God can Have."..Such people are ignorant as well as cheaters...

Real Seekers of God may take shelter of any name of God and by following the path shown by great Sages will definitely reach the Supreme abode of God thus ending all sufferings ...

In this age The best path is to chant the name of God and all the names of Supreme God are equally powerful...
But Chanting the name of a man or a demigod will not help..
One has to Still learn the name of the Supreme God and Chant that only..

REBEL REBEL, THERE IS BUT ONE GOD , tho he is known by many names. People give the one GOD different names according to their concept or view of him, some call him by a name representive of some attribute of god.I E, EROS,The God of LOVE. prehaps it is because they cannot yet tolerate the full light of the one GOD'S LOVE. GOD will surely bless you for seeking to know him better, LOVE GOD with all your heart and all your might, dwell on him night and day. LOVE whistle Britches

The "actual truth" is possibly "not one of the above". At suited, we may be able to apply technological information to improve our information of ways the universe works. inspite of the undeniable fact that, the single ingredient that all of us recognize at this factor is that it wasn't created by technique of imaginary sky creatures.

Yes they are referring to the same God. They talk about Aberham, Ishmial, Isaac, Moses, and Jesus in the Quran.

They are both fictional characters. It's like asking if the Hulk in the comics is really the same Hulk that Lou Ferrigno played on TV. It really doesn't matter. Both Hulks are fictional green men. Both gods are fictional superbeings.

Yep. Allah is the same old jealous, petty, capricious, mass-murdering psychopathic Abrahamic death-cult diety of desert monotheism that is described in the Old Testament... Yahweh... Jehovah... whatever.

Christians seem to think that around 2,000 years ago, this diety developed some kind of Multiple Personality Disorder (MPD), in which he manifested a hippie-like personality (Jesus... spent some time on earth... now can be eaten in the form of a cracker), and a Casper the Ghost-like character with pedophilic tendencies (suspected of having impregnated a 12 or 13 year-old virgin... and being venerated for it).

Moslems, however, do not share that belief; they see him as his same-old psychopathic self, essentially unchanged since his old-testament days... except that he seems to have updated his reward system about 1,500 years ago, when he started handing over virgins (in heaven) to be defiled by insane zealots, as a show of gratitude for them having carried out mass-murder and killing themselves in his name. (I think that's what happens to Catholic nuns, after they die. Where else would they find enough virgins?)

Sweet.

I find him very interesting to note that most Christians... including Christian preachers... haven't got the slightest clue about the historical roots of their own religion, let alone any other religion.

If he is the same guy, then how come his devout followers have not stopped killing each other for centuries?
