If you either arguing or discussing something with a woman and they want to be right, they always say "well, they said you should eat 3 meals a day". Who the fck is they? Do you just hear things randomly and not pay attention to who says them?

Not just women. Instead of citing one's source,in a spirited conversation, people will say, they said, I heard, I can't remember who said, etc. "They" is the great unknown resource of bits and pieces of data floating around the cosmos. Unless the information is primary, and must be verified in print i.e. newspaper, magazine, its easier to just quote "they" as plucked out of the ever ready slush pile.

Women read a lot (particularly blurbs in magazines) and instead of citing sources of this retained information, they just use "they". If you are that interested in the source, look it up yourself.
