why do so many people stay stuck on the the black and white issue we all have to live in this world together so why keep hateing one another? life is to short for the dumb sh** i grew up around nothing but blacks and mexicans and i got along good with them. but i also have alot of white friends to. what is the bigg deal bout what race u are who why is it so important that u hang with ur own race?

I grew up around a few blacks and they was pretty mean girls, but I never did hate their color because of them. I never could understand what the problem is with a different color. I watched a movie the other day where there was a black family trying to move into a neighborhood that was all white. This was set back in the 1940's. I feel so sorry that they had such a hard time. You see now blacks who see movies like that and get mad cause of us whites. Blacks need to understand most of us whites are not like that, and whites need to understand its just a color as well.

By complaining about the race issue, you are making it an issue yourself. I've seen plenty of people in the ghetto that go on and on saying "It's beause I'm black, isn't it?". No, really it's not. It's because you're from the ghetto.

I agree that there is just as much trash in every race.However,it is more focused on when its a black person that is in the spotlight.I am not racest,but I do think that alot of them are more racest toward us.I treat everyone the same until given a reason to think otherwise about them.I admit that I used to be racest but certain events in my life have opened my eyes to see that it's not any one race.It's all of us that have trash within our race.Never judge a book by it's cover.

I have a lot of black,indian mexican,japanese,and other nationality friends I think that the white man is to blame for this,being one I do not understand this why ?none of these people have done anything to me like some of my "so called white friends" have done,go figure,sorry America,but you all know it is true!

Because there is too much ignorance in the world we live in. People are afraid of things that they don't understand, and that is where it stems from. White people are scared of black people because they don't understand why they are so aggressive, they don't understand what type of environment they come from. Black people are scared of white people because they make it in the worl and don't understand why they can't as well. The problem here is pure ignorance.

because some people are stupid and small minded enough to believe that soemthing as insignificant as the colour of your skin can make such a big difference to the type of people they are
i think personally this is as stupid as if we discriminated against people of certain eye colours, for example, and is like certain people getting picked on for hair colour, but on a much bigger scale.
people feel the need to discriminate against anything different from themsemves because we are all very insecure and need to confirm in our minds that the way we are is the 'right' way to be.

People are racist because they are threatened by people of different beliefs or appearance. All people like to feel superior so they degrade other people to achieve it. Even though this just makes them shallow
