This child clearly needs long term professional help - but she also needs friends and support - by this I mean she should not be made to feel a need to hide her eating disorder from those around her - ie: don't drive her towards concealment and secrecy as this subtly criminalizes her behavior and sets her up against the world. You should also ask for her advice on how you, as a loving parent, can help her - try to turn the table a little by getting her to take an active (parental) interest in your own diet . Be sure of this hard fact - anorexia is a mental disorder and her eating habits are just a symptom of that.

Seek counseling and be supportive. Do not play along with her eating games. If you do, it will make it worse because someone is validating her control issues.
God bless you too. I know you must be going thru hell. My daughter self mutilates and I feel like sometimes I am going to die inside. I cannot imagine what you must be going thru. Just remember, God hears your voice. Try asking him for guiadance.

take the child to the hospital fast to see a doctor, probably needs a medical attention.it may be something a few tablet of vitamins will solve or may need to see a shrink.

tell her that you love her and that you are concerned for her health. i don't care if you have to drag her kicking and screaming, get her to a therapist, a nutritionist, and a support group.

anorexia is caused by low self-esteem over both one's appearance and one's ability to control their own lives. your daughter is not just doing this to fit in- she's doing it because she feels like it's one of the only important decisions that she can make for herself concerning her own body. it's a matter of misguided willpower. please get her the help she needs- no matter the cost.
