This is a story created by the church to paint women in a bad light.
Women or matriarchal societies were a threat to the male run churches (Catholic / Christian) that were being newly created. Called 'pagans' the people that worshiped the earths cycle of rebirth and the power a woman had to create life was not a belief that would fit in with a God and his devine son Jesus. To create some propaganda the church altered and incorporated many religions to fit there needs and add members while eliminating the female aspect. Anyone who practiced any different were fo course eliminated.
Woman has created the downfall of man (Eve and the apple). Woman is dirty, and a temptress that will lead you astray from the path of righteousness. (Jezebel and Mary Magdalene both painted as evil women that corrupted men)
This of course created original sin. You are born of woman who was made from man and therefore born into sin because well basically...Eve stole that stupid apple making all women the root of evil. Most previous religions believed it was the woman who created life, which makes sense, not that they came from a mans rib. Again the church attempting to make men the source of life and goodness, MAN was made in his image, not woman. Woman is a by product, a flawed one if you believe the stories.

Bible stories are a way to keep society in check. A ruler or priest who needs something done can always say "god has commanded thee" and the mindless masses hop to it. Problem is many of the old religions never really were destroyed, there were just practiced more discretely. So the time of the Catholic and Christian style churches being all powerful is becoming suspect. No one like a religion that lies and commits blasphemy to get followers.

Adam and Eve disobeyed God. It's not that they took the fruit from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, and its not even so much that they ate it.
They did somethign that God specifically told them not to do. Thus Eve and Adam where banished from the paradise of the garden. It is from that that they had to work for food, clothing and shelter. Because they broke the one and only rule God had laid down for them, they now had to wear themselves out to attain even a fraction of the life that God had originally given them.
As for the hell part, once Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit, their eyes were opened to the idea that there was evil in the world. Because they could see it, God gave them, and every human after them the choice of following God or following Satan. To be good or evil. To go to heaven or hell. It's all our choice.

And on a side note, children are innocent up until their mind develops enough to tell the diffrence between right and wrong, and they can make a logical choice between heaven and hell. God isn't going to condemn a child or a person to hell if they are not mentally capable of choosing between Him and the Devil.

Thus, children and the mentally hadicapped are essentually innocent, and are going to heaven.

She didn't steal the apple. The dumba** guy ate it and screwed mankind. And, no, children born/unborn are not evil scum - they are absolved of 'original sin' and no one 'burns in hell' there are no flames. You just don't see the face of God. By the way, you seem well-spoken. What a scholar you are (insert sarcasm here).

All children, born and unborn belong to God and have not committed any sins, until they have reached the age of accountablity. The day they know the difference between right and wrong, and that wrong is committing a sin, that is the day they need to accept Jesus as their savior. Your statment is totally false.

And I've got some news for you friend..... Adam ate that same fruit that Eve ate and it was after he did that, he completed that first sin. They did it together.

The sin was Adam eating the apple-he knew better, but bit in anyway. and Yes sin passed to all the people. It's hard to explain-It isn't like a crime where you pay for only what you do-the whole neighborhood doesn't get arrested.Adam and Eve were the whole human race, and when they were kicked out of the Garden, they were cut off from God,their kids too.

I refuse to trust that the "fall" of mankind is with the aid of a lady with an eating ailment. What, she couldn't say no to an apple? it would want to be more beneficial a danger if it were the chocolate tree from Dora the Explorer. BTW if Eve were bulimic and vomited up the apple earlier it became digested might want to we nevertheless be unaware of solid and evil? might want to we nevertheless be punished?

that is why you have to be reborn in Christ
washed in the blood that he shed for you and me
the apple came from the tree of knowledge
and it was preferred for us not to have this knowledge
of pain and suffering...like Pandoras box, the tree of knowledge
brought these things into the world but with the promise of salvation if we believe. it was a devine plan made possible by God by giving man the ability to choose...free will

no, it means that the price for sin is death (hell). it is a proven fact that sin is genetic. a person is likely to deal with the same sins/troubles that thier parents or grandparents, or even grandparents dealt with. therefore, since sin is genetic, eve's children sinned and their children sinned and so on and so on. however fortunately, Christ paid that price when he died. since he was God's Son, and the only one to ever walk the earth free from sin, he was the only candidate to pay the price that we could not pay. Death. that is why if you accept the fact that he paid the price for you, you too will be saved from death (hell)

God is too pure to be in the presence of any sin, and therfore we must all be cleaned from the mess that was initiated thousands of years ago.

No, we wont brun in hell, not if were saved,

I kinda think of it as a test, Christ loves you no matter what, If you love him back and fallow his rules you will be with him in heaven!

Not a lot to ask, we love him and fallow the rules for the short time we are alive, then for eternity we are in heaven ^^

(I also used to question the fairness of adam and eve, but you just gotta deal with it, nothing in life is always fair!)
