The Act of Disobediance(High Treason) messed-up Adam's Spirit. GOD had to Withdraw HIS PRESENCE from Adam or else Adam woulda' Ceased to Exist (GOD's Power turn's out Sin).
If GOD were to "Let Go" of HIS PRESENCE (Flood the EARTH with HIS LOVE) Everybody that has not gotten their Spirit Recreated (Saved) would Cease to Exist, including satan and his Angel's.
The People who were SAVED would still be here, cause their Spirit's can handle the Power.

The EARTH was messed-up too Spiritually, it Reacted to GOD's Presence when GOD came down on the Mountain to talk to Moses.

Hell was made for satan and his Angels.
Mankind was NEVER suppose to end up there.
Adam blew-it for all of us.
JESUS made a Way for all of us to make it Home to GOD (what we call Heaven).
BOTTOM LINE: GOD Created the EARTH and the Star System and gave FULL-AUTHORITY of it to Mankind through Adam.
Adam changed God's to satan(who Kill's,Steal's and Destroy's), kicking the LOVING CREATOR outta HIS OWN CREATION.
GOD gave Mankind a certain amount of Time (Contract) to Rule and Reign on the EARTH.
Adam opened up the Door to the Curse, Sin and the Devil.
When the Contract is up with Mankind, the Creator is comning back Full-Force to make thing's Right, then there will be 1000 Year's of Peace on the EARTH and the Lion will Lay down with the Lamb(GOD's agonna change some messed-up DNA).
Hope this helps.

Of course the whole thing is allegorical. The 'forbidden fruit', often depicted as an apple in humorous treatments of the event, was supposed to be awareness of their nakedness, of their sexuality. Prior to that they were 'innocent'.

More than anything Adam and Eve is a myth about childhood. Think about it. As a child the world was simple. Along with adulthood and sexual awareness come complications. Those who refer to menstruation as Eve's curse, as though God visited this monthly affliction on her as punishment, are accidentally right for the wrong reasons. Menstruation is a consequence of maturity and sexual development, though not a punishment.

Eden is an allegory for a nursery. Becoming adults, learning about adult things, means going out into the cruel world and fending for yourself.

Those who take the whole thing literally have yet to fully emerge from childhood.

I dont know what chick that would be... I know you are not talking about Eve as that was more than a 1000 years ago.

I wonder who this "we" is you are refering to as for myself I am not a "evil bastard" for one and for two I am very happy and really have never seen "Hell's Fire" and dont plan on ever seeing it.

you recognize, it became the "It became all Eve's fault" wondering that allowed adult men to justify treating females as 2d type electorate for thus bloody lengthy. information flash: Eve might want to were the first to eat the apple, yet Adam did not precisely beat the apple off with a stick. not evil, sinful, and certain, all of us are. yet when we are not sorry, stay willfully and ignore God our entire lives, why ought to we get to be with Him in paradise? what type of God would not punish the sinful? And we are not all going to conflict through in hell's fireplace always, more beneficial like purely those who reject God.

And you want to pit your own righteousness against God's righteousness - who proclaimed capital punishment for stealing fruit? and has the power to enforce it?

Fear not them who can only kill the body and not the soul. Fear God who is able to destroy both body and soul in hell.

For the wages of sin is death... if you have no sin then why do you die at all?

And by the way, it wasn't so much that Eve took of the forbidden fruit - she didn't have the seed. The problem is that Adam loved his wife and chose to die with her. The problem is that Adam ate of the forbidden fruit. For as by one man sin entered into the world.

This explains very simply why it was necessary to have the Saviour born of a virgin - to avoid the sinful seed of Adam, and thus have no original sin.

It wasn't eating an apple that caused the way the world is today. It was the act of disobedience and therefore punishment was the ultimate result. Its the same way we discipline our children; if they disobey us we take something away, we punish them.

People today make this world a HELL. In other words we make our own HELL here on earth. We have no one to blame but ourselves.

That about sums it up. The point of the myth is that disobedience of God is the most horrible act anyone can commit...innocent or not. Thus the excuse to get into everyones personal lives and make judgements.

Funny how ludicrous religious beliefs are when you sit down and really look at them...

The point of the story is that humans were given the simplest of rules: Don't eat off of one tree. They couldn't hack it. They did what they wanted to instead. God then turned us loose to do as we want and suffer the consequences. When we turn back to Him, acknowledge Him, learn to love and accept love from Him, we turn back to His original plan. His original plan had us living in harmony and love, taking care of the world and sharing all that it has too offer in peace and love. We, on our own, VERY OBVIOUSLY, can't do that. Take a look around you. We've seperated into countries, races, and social classes. How stupid is that?

We are sinful by nature yes; however, contrary to popular belief, in most translations of the Bible, it is clear that Adam is to blame for Eve partaking of the forbidden tree since God spoke with Adam and forbade him to eat, whereas God did not directly speak with Eve. When asked by God why he had ate of the tree, Adam said it was because Eve had brought him the fruit. It was in that instance that the true weakness of humans was exposed: sinful by nature and unable to burden the blame.

The bottom line is God tried to create utopia, but Eve wanted free will, so we got it. Some of us are good and some of us are bad, by the choices we make.

It is kind of simple, and it even makes sense.

Utopia's do not work, they are unrealistic. They are like pertual motion machines, not real. Good and evil is like motion and friction, it exists.
