Actually nearly every time I've seen a portrayal of JC it strikes me as weird.

The fact that people accept him as their Lord & Saviour, yet have no interest in who he was is bizarre to me. The European guy with pale skin and long straight hair that you see in most churches bears no possible resembelence to the the man that people claim to love. Considering the fact that he was a nomadic desert semite who spent very little time indoors, one would have to assume a much browner visage for the Lord.

DAN 7:9 ...and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool...

This and other passages from both the new & old testament proclaim that JC (& other's from the flock of the Lord) would have hair like lamb's wool. I don't know if you've seen many lambs, but they have pretty kinky hair. In fact, if you don't sheer them or comb them, they get dreadlocks over their entire body.

Now no one can say what JC really looked like. Seeing as the bible is so anti idol worship, I would imagine that he wouldn't want you to make or worship graven images of him anyway. But the most likely image of him would be a homeless, brown-skinned man with dreads. (i'm fairly certain JC didn't own a comb) If he knocked at the door of most so-called Christians, they would probably call the police.

Of course, none of this stops the mass of his followers from kneeling in front of a sad looking Italian man and crossing themselves. JC would probably forgive them...

We don't know what his face looks like so how could anyone have seen it. Plus if your talking about the stereotypical Jesus face then good luck believing that. No way a guy living in that land was white with blue eyes.

I was at a motorway service station in France the other day, and some Portuguese bloke had a Jesus' portrait painted on the side of his lorry cabin. You've got to be motivated to do that.

Stranger still, I saw the face of a Robot on Christ's body once. Not for long, so it must've been some kind of ghostly apparition.

I had a dream that I was helping Jesus find a nice white outfit for his Resurrection. I worked in Debenhams at the time. I got him a nice outfit. He was very nice and pleased with the results.

I once saw his face in the head of a guiness I bought. But then, it was the seventh of the day

On Jay's chest during his "Silence of the Lambs" dance in "Clerks II". Gotta love those "Got Christ" shirts! But the whole scene is pretty creepy.

Actually (I am serious here) I once thought I could see him in the pattern on a wardrobe door. I could see his beard, and arms outstretched.

Freaked me out - had to go and sleep in the living room.

I used to see him in the wardrobe of my old flat, but I used to see an elephant as weel. I think it had more to do with the amount of illegal substances I was imbibing at the time.
