I finally got how to get the srunchy look but i can't seem to get it at the top of my head, I want the scruncy look all over and not just at the bottom of my stands...also I would like it to look more volumized. I use my hands or i braid my hair when its wet and has mousse in it and let it dry, that way I get the whole scrunchy look. Is there any techniques to have the top of your head scrunched and volumized as well? Mind you I got long hair about to the bottom of my back. Thanks

Try putting whatever product you use in your hair and then flip your head upside down and blow dry (low) at just the root area while lifting at the roots with your fingers. then continue as usual that will give you more lift at the top!! :) good luck!

HI, The wieght of your hair will cause it to not be as volumized and bouncy as someone with shorter hair . There are a few tips that can help you. For one use a volumizing shampoo there are a couple of good ones on the market. after you do your thing while it is wet, try this after it is dry, right at the roots slightly dampen hair with your gel or mousee, turn your head upside down so your hair falls "up" {if you were standing straight}....with your hair dryer in one hand drying the hair at the roots in your other hand that is scrunching, and ..tug it a little , I think you will be pleased with the lift that will give you all around and not just the top. GOOD LUCK!!

Yes, when your hair is dry on top, pull the ends up toward the ceiling and tease with a brush or comb the back side of your hair. Then lay the hair over the teased part and lightly comb over it giving you a little volume from the tease. Be careful and donot leave a birds nest on top. It may take a couple tries but you'll get it. I do this when I am putting my hair in a ponytail to give it volume and style. Good Luck!

Sprunch spray from Aussie works well. I have long, naturally curly hair. When I get out of the shower I brush the tangles out, put gel in my hands and run it through all my hair and close to the scalp. Then I spray the length with the sprunch spray and allow it to air dry for a while. Then blow dry to style it.

Good Luck and I hope this helps...

Okay put your product in your hair and get your blow dryer and flip your head over and blow dry as you scrunch your hair and the roots will be dry enough to stand up. Good Luck

Try using a diffuser at the roots and flip your head over.
