Do you praise The Lord?
Do you put Him aside when times are hard?
Have you foresaken Him, even though He'd never do that to you?
Are you greaful to be alive and with your Family, despite what cards life deals you?

What a great question and opportunity to bear witness to the greatness of God! The easy answer to your question is YES! I praise Him for every good and bad thing in my life. If He had not given me life to begin with, I wouldn't be around to experience and learn from everything life throws my way. Now, as I get into the rest of my answer some may disagree, but this is my opinion from life experience and studying my bible. Buckle your seatbelts, it's a bumpy ride!
I believe that satan rules the earth, though he doesn't rule my life. One look at the questions and crude remarks on yahoo answers is all the proof we need to know that satan is alive and well and moving around the world today. But, if we choose to let God rule our life, we can make it through everything satan throws our way. The bad things that happen aren't God's "fault" satan still tempts and torments people today, especially God's people. But the beauty of it all is God is always victorious over satan! The evil in the world is not greater than the God that lives inside of me. Let me show you that I know what I am talking about.
This week has been nothing short of insane. We had to put in a new hot water tank Tuesday night ($300) and last night we found transmission fluid leaking from our van as we got ready to go to church. This is after having a new motor put in it less than a week ago.($3100) So we thought maybe it was just a leaking hose or something but it turns out it is the front seal which will be about $400 at the least $800 at the most and time in the shop. But, because my husband just changed jobs, we have money coming in from sone investments at his former job that will take care of those expenses. God's provisions when we need them most....Wednesday night our daughter that is 6 months pregnant started having contractions and had to go to the hospital. Turns out she has a urinary tract infection and that caused bladder spasms which in turn triggered contractions. I was to take her about 6oo miles from home this weekend to see her husband in the military, but as you can imagine that trip is off. Praises to God for our scare with her and the van messing up BEFORE we got on the road. I graduated from college last year with a degree in education and spent a year substituting before I looked for a full time job. I looked for a job all summer and nothing worked out for me, I found out 2 weeks ago my mother has to have knee replacement surgery and I will be the one to take care of her. My dad has alzheimers and she is his caretaker so I will have to step into that role as well. Had I gotten hired anywhere, it wouldn't be possible for me to take off from a new job to do all that they will need me to do. God always know what's best. Even if it didn't make sense to me that I didn't get hired, I knew He had a reason and would show me why as long as I waited on Him. Praises to God for His mercy and grace, answered prayers (and some unanswered ones as well) and getting us through to this point, I know He won't let us down now! Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans that I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." I also love these lyrics from Praise You in This Storm--by Casting Crowns As the thunder rolls/ I barely hear You whisper through the rain/ I'm with you/ And as your mercy falls/ I raise my hands and praise the God that gives/ and takes away/ I'll praise you in this storm and I will lift my hands/For You are who You are/No matter where I am/ Every tear I've cried/ You hold in your hand/You never left my side/And though my heart in torn/I will praise you in this storm. God bless you and I hope this answers your question!

I think people sometimes gets things mix up when we read scriptures that says pray without ceasing, Praise the Lord all ye Saints, & so on, If we have a spiritual mind & let God lead us, we can see what these many verses means. I will use the verse as an example, Pray without ceasing in 1st Thes. 5:17 Do we go around all day on our knees praying,NO, it is the same with giving Praise unto God all the time. God knows we have to live in this life, & we have jobs to go to & certain things we have to do as a everyday life to live this every day life. It would be a hinderance to my employer if all I did was punch the time clock & go to my work station & for 8 hours, get down on my knees & pray, or to even give praise unto God 24/7 out loud, that would be injusted to my employer, Yes we are to sit an example to everyone even your employer. But we can go throughout the day while you may be putting parts together on a assembly line, or maybe we might be in a meeting with our employer, God expects us to have our mind upon what we are doing, But at the same time, while all this is going on, deep down in our mind & soul, we have God on our mind, & we can always be in a prayerful attitude. God knows we have to make a living, & he expects us to have our mind upon our work, But still at the same time, I can have a pray or praise upon my mind, It does not mean we have to be outwardly praying but to have a prayerful & Praise attitude. I hope this can help you with your question.

I praise the Lord all the time. He has helped me through very hard times in my life - He's been with me through the highs and the lows. I praise him during the good and the bad because I know that He is always with me and is responsible for the good things that happen to me and is comforting through the bad things. I've never forsaken God even though sometimes it is easy to doubt Him. I know that He would never abandon me. I am so grateful for every minute I am given with my family and friends. My experiences have taught me to cherish every moment, because it could be the last. I know that God will always be there for me and I am truly grateful for that!

I think sometimes everyone forgets when things are well that they have someone to thank; I try to always remember that even when I'm on on top of the world, I only have the Lord to thank for helping through the bad times and blessing me with the good times.

Satan is deceiving you, he is a liar!

I suggest you purchase from Amazon a book called ' A Divine Revelation of Hell' by Mary K Baxter, within the covers you will find many Satanists who were deceived right up until they died.

I think you will find it an interesting read.

be wise!

The above wasnt for you firehazard! It was for one of your feedback folk using distalbicept as a his ID, have a look! And God does use his children to teach, along with the Bible which I know is the best source for guidance and correction.

My wife and i lost a baby a few years back. We didn't have a church community at that time but we had our faith. It saw us through. We could have spiralled into depression and fought one another about why or who's fault it was. Instead God got us through. Shortly after we found that community in our church. We found tons of love and support. After another year of praying and fasting with our small group, our son was born healthy and strong. He's been a blessing. There will always be the wound of the lost child, but God has blessed us and taught us much.

There are days when I forget to pray, but I think about God all the time. I'm working on making Him the center of my life instead of the cop out or safety net.

Well, if you are a true Christian, then you believe that everything is from His hand. If you believe that then thanking only for the good times is something of a betrayal of trust. It's saying that you don't trust Him through the bad times, or that you don not believe you need to be shaped by those experiences.

I've done both praised and put him aside. I believe god watches over me regardless of what good I've done or sins I've committed towards him or humanity. We both understand that it is my responsibility and my responsibility alone to make to the necessarily changes in my behavior in order to be seek salvation. God will never give up on me, and has given me what I consider tools in order to lead me to the righteous path even during the past few months of my suicidal depression. I may not be able to see god or know what he has done, but to see that many people have cared from me since birth to this time of pain gives me faith that he exists in all our souls as unconditional love.

Oh I truly try to praise the Lord everyday and always whether things are going good or not great at all. Why? Because I know that no matter what I'm going through He will take care of me and see me through.
