It could be arthritis or a psysomatic disorder, have you had alot of anxiety lately stress related......
I am not saying that your illness isn't right....but the mind is stronger than the body in so many ways......

Arthritic pain would be felt on movement of the joint. What you are describing indicates it very possibly to be displacement of some of the small bones in the wrist..This would be indicated by noting the pain, when stretching your hands.

I would see a doctor. Could be onset of carpal tunnel syndrome.
