So many different types have been named by "experts" until I'm almost sure a true one has to be in the mix.
Here are some:
Compulsive.
Chronic.
Habitual.
Pathological.
To me you are or you are not. It's that simple.

you ask is there a such thing as a true liar? i sure hope you dont know one. but my guess is YES and YES. i used to date this guy for 2 years and everything that came out of his mouth was a lie. he lied about the most simplest things and to make it so bad he would tell me one thing then when i would ask him about it later he would say things like, i never told you that, i dont remember that, thats not what i said, or he would just run from one lie with another lie. even when he took me to meet his family, they all would ask me about all the stuff he has told them cause they say, well i just wanted to check with you cause he lies so much OUCH!!! and when i say family that includes his MOM and GRANDMOM. and those are two of the people you dont want to hear saying something bad about your boyfriend or girlfreind. anyway we are still friends his latest WHOPPER is that he is currently enrolled in college and he is going into the military, his mother and grandma called me to confirm if its really true (now you know thats deep) and the final answer is .........he is not in college, he is not even registered for classes, and he cant go to the military cause he has high blood pressure i know because he told me. hahahaha what a TRUE LIAR in the truest form.

Hmm...a true liar, huh? That´s a good question...and to be honest with you, im not really sure....i guess it all depends on if the person whos lying actually wants to lie, or if its just somethin he´s gotten him or herself caught up in.

I think sometimes there is a "need" to lie sometimes. So my answer would be yes.

think of it this way a person who lies is a person who can't be trusted so this person is TRUELY someone you shouldn't listen to
