Ok, I am having a party for my daughter's cheer squad. What I need is a fast, inexpensive snack that I can turn purple (the team color). Any ideas??? No cupcakes...not happening on my carpet!! LOL.

- purple rice krispies treats
- purple jello squares
- fruit with purple fruit dip (buy already cut up fruit and also, you
can buy fruit dip already made in the store...all you have
to add is food coloring)
- purple cream cheese on celery
If I think of any more I'll add to it...but maybe this will be a start for you.

Well, anything you turn purple has the potential to end up staining your carpet. Keep them in the kitchen or outside while they eat.
Grape juice
popsicles
punch
Kool-aid
sugar cookies with a little food coloring put into the dough - shape it like a megaphone
grape jello
get those white chocolate pieces that you can melt and add some food coloring then melt it into some kind of cool shapes

You could buy food that's already purple, as well. Grapes, grape flavored Kool-Aid, Jell-o, etc. Buy M&Ms and Smarties and only use the purple ones for the party. Buy cookies w purple icing, or put the icing on store-bought cookies if you can't find any.

I'm not really sure...but does the whole food have to be purple? Maybe you could make something like cookies or granola bars and top them with purple whipped cream (you know, add food coloring to it). Good question...

You sound American, so I'm not sure these will work, but anything with blackberries or blackcurrants will give a good purple COLOUR (look, I can spell it correctly as well!!)
