7 stone one and a quarter pounds.

Here's how to work it out...

One stone is 14 pounds and one pound is approximately 453.5 grams.

45 kilograms is 45,000 grams so divide 45,000 by 453.5 to convert the kilograms into pounds = 99.228.

Divide 99.228 (pounds) by 14 to convert into stones = 7.088.

45 kilograms therefore equals 7.088 stone. To convert 0.088 stones into pounds multiply by 14 (14 pounds in a stone) = 1.232.

There are therefore 7 stone and 1.232 pounds in 45 kg.

It very much depends on where you are. If you're in the UK, you weigh yourself in pounds and ounces. If you're in Europe you'd generally weigh yourself in kilograms. We English shouldn't have to convert our weights & measures into metric!
