Since I am unable to determine the extent of the burn I suggest that you cover the wound with a dry sterile dressing and go to the Doctor.
If you do not have a first aide kit with dressings large enough, a feminine napkin will work.

I would definitely buy some neosporin with pain reliever. It works well, and it will keep it from scarring. I've always been told that putting toothpaste on it draws out the heat and makes it feel better. It's kind of a "home remedy" if you're low on money! Hope this helps!

slice a piece of an aloe plant and put the gooey gel on the burn, or use a lotion with aloe in it to cool and heal. if the burn is recent, ice it immediately to stop the burning.
