I think the hottest ever temperature recorded in Britain was in Gravesend - part of London.
Also, each year, the hottest recorded temperatures are at Heathrow and Gatwick airport areas - London airports.
Also, London has by far the biggest population of any British city - making it most people dense. So London generates the most body heat!
