I don't think they're thick. Craig Nicholls from the Vines suffers from chronic AS and the guy is a brilliant, visionary musician.

People with Aspergers syndrome are not 'thick', and few people who have been reading the news or watching CSI would be likely to think so. That being said; many folks who have Aspergers Syndrome tend to have a hard time with social skills and usually they excel at anything requiring mathematics or spacial relations. These are just general tendencies and there are always exceptions to any rule. I wouldn't worry about it kiddo, be proud of who you are and keep pushing the limits of human possibility. After all no one is "normal" - that's just a setting on washing machines.

aspergers syndrome is classed as high level autism.
this makes them very intelligent, but have problems with social skills.they learn to disguise their supposed oddities over time and appear normal to us.they look at life and the world from a different aspect than those without it.
ther are 6 or 7 symptoms to decide aspergers, and some of us may have 2 or 3 without realising it.

No. I have read a bit about Asbergers Syndrome. Normally people who have it are good at Maths and good at remembering things.
