Medical licenses are issued by the state medical board in which you intend to practice. Contact them for all the details.

As a medical student, I hope that I can help you. First insure that you have a good grade point average when you're in highschool or make a good score on your SAT. This will help you get into a good college and later on it will be looked back at when you are applying to a medical school. Search online about colleges that offer medicine, get a plan. Choose from a list of colleges that you compile yourself, request information on the college websight, and go to each one to tour the campus and get the feel. Choose the best one that applys to you and fits in with what you feel comfortable with. Apply to many but always have a few top choices, colleges can be different on classroom size, teacher to student ratio, and other stuff like how assesible it is for you to get around, dorm life, etc.

I suggest when doing your basics for college, plan to get them out of the way first. These are pretty easy classes, study hard and keep atleast a 3.5 GPA, you may even do like I did and attend classes that you don't need but will help you in the future with your hard classes like science, math, and biology. Go through your premed classes and keep your GPA strong remembering no lower then a 3.5 I would suggest you keep that atleast to insure you get accepted in a medical school. Take your medical school exam, and then apply to medical colleges.

Remember when going to school, expecially medical school keep your personal life clean. Make sure you have no criminal backgounds, no drugs, no felonys, and have a clean credit score.. They look into it all before choosing the few they allow in each year.

Theres also grants, loans, and scholorships you can get to attend med school. Look up Finicial Aid or go to your local college to pick up an FAFSA form and inquire about grants, loans, and medical scholorships.

Good Luck

Take State licensing exams, pass the English tests, then join a hospital as an intern.
