If he's asking for sex from you simply throw it back on him by saying "please respect my wishes and my feelings for you by waiting until we're BOTH ready".

If your not ready for sex then don't do it. Simple as. All guys want it but for the right girl we're willing to wait. If this guy you like really likes you he'll wait as long as it takes for you to be comfortable with the idea.
From your question you sound young so i say wait until you 100% ready for sex.
That being said there's no reason you two cant go out on dates and stuff.

first of all how old are you? if you are above 18 then that is your personal decision. i lost my virginity at 12 and had regreted it ever since. just know the consequences in sex. it seems to me that he's just after a booty call .. dont do it if you dont love him .. get to know him first... you never know if he is a jerk, has an std, etc. also think about what would happen if he got you pregnant..would you keep it? how about your parents? would he leave you? and just to let you know.. you can never tie down a guy by having his baby.

You're scared.. so I guess you're still a virgin.. in that case, save if for the time when you're ABSOLUTELY sure about the guy.. better still, if you can save it till you get married.. your virginity is the best gift you can give your spouce..
And go out with him only if he's looking to take you seriously... don't have a fling that you'll later regret.

WOW, um just about every guy on the planet is pre-wired to want to have sex from birth i swear. I know because i am one. However, if you do not want to have sexual intercourse and that's the only reason he wants to be with you then this guy truly isn't worth your time.
