still have 2 buckets for waste, one small one for food and one large one for everything else? It all goes to the same place nowadays.

I personally pick up a 5 gallon bucket each week from my local chiense restaurant of produce odds and ends. We then compost with it.

Likewise, my neighbors keep rabbits, and they get produce scraps as well for feeding of their pets.

Perhaps they like to have a snack when no one is looking? People who work in kitchens can be an odd lot.

Because you should be composting, keeping chickens or feeding a worm bin. Waste is SO last century.

Must be something to do with recycling as the food will decompose.

It gets compacted and sun dried and is then used to fill matresses in the third world.
