True Christians are not terrorists. There are people who unfortunately preach hate in the name of Jesus and hate is not what Jesus is about.

This is interesting because here is the real bottom line on this.

This began when "hate" crime laws were passed to punish people not for what they did but what they thought. While some people think it was a good idea , it isn't because you no longer have the freedom to express yourself, even peacefully. And that doesn't mean that preaching "hate" is good but it must be accepted or the law will grow feet of its own and this is what you are going to get.

Now, public policy determines what is acceptable to say and what is not and if you say or act or think in a certain way you can be punished. That is what this is all about. And it will get bigger as the law expands (as they always do).

So, what would happen if some gays started taunting Christians? Nothing because it is acceptable and not considered hate but freedom of expression.

So, while everyone (the nut cases, that is) are claiming Bush is imposing on rights, they are being taken right from under us and no one noticed!

Excellent question and thank you for pointing this out.

Your question specifically qualifies All Christians as terrorists. I say No, All Christians are NOT terrorists.

However, some are. The Christians who bomb abortion clinics, proclaiming that they do the work of Our Lord, are terrorists.

As for this particular group, what terrorist act did they perform? As I understand it, a terrorist act is an act of violence causing physical harm to others.

Speaking, in and of itself, is not an act of violence. Speaking with the affects being degradation, low self-esteem, humiliation and regret are also not physically harmful. If this affect of speaking your mind and heart become defined as a terrorist act, how many companies will be brought up on charges when foremen, managers and supervisors openly cuss out an errant employee? How many parents will be charged with terrorism against their own children? How many football enthusiasts who hurl insults at the opposing fans will be arrested?

Where will the line be drawn?

The story on the television website is unfortunate, but typical. Christians are more effective spreading their cause with Love rather than noisy demonstrations. Caring for an individual on a personal level is always the best way to REALLY get someones attention. And thankfully, there are many, many people out there still doing that. But they will never make the news.

This is not terrorism. Terrorism involves murder for the sake of murder. Spiritual issues are never at the core of terrorism. Terrorism is a political issue, not social, economic, or spiritual. The constitutional right for the other side to be heard in public is well established. Just because it involves Christians does not make it a hate crime. We are in danger of loosing all of our rights and subjecting ourselves to a Neo-Nazi style of regime if we do not stand up for our constitutional rights against the government and the workers of Satan who want to see the Antichrist ushered in on a red carpet. If we loose our right to free speech, the first thing to go will be Internet sites like Yahoo Q&A, where we can pretty much say what we want. This is the perfect place for the free exchange of thoughts and ideals. Jesus loves you.

A cogent argument can be made that some Christians use tactics that fit the definition of terrorism. It is not a common behavior amongst all Christians. Most of them express a "live and let live" attitude. Wish a few more Muslims felt that way...

Some folks who claim to be Christian can be terrorists...just like some who claim to be Muslim are terrorists.

But, since all Christians are sinners, it's very likely that there are some Christian Terrorists...just like there's Christian fornicators, litterers, video pirates, and the like.

If your question is "Does the Christian Church teach terrorism and that sin is acceptable behavior?", then the answer is a simple "No."

As a Muslim I must say that when it comes to terrorist's, religion isn't important (Christian/Muslim/Jew..etc)!

It only means that the Terrorist (person) is corrupt and not the religion and everyone that follows it. It's an unfair generalization to say "Christians are Terrorists" or that "Muslims are Terrorists"

Definition of a terrorist:
A radical who employs terror as a political weapon; usually organizes with other terrorists in small cells; often uses religion as a cover for terrorist activities.

Saying Christians are terrorists or the term muslim terrorist is like saying all americans are fat. Oh wait, wrong example...
