A 9 year old muslim girls letter to Allah?

Dear Allah, why did our prophet have sex with a 9 year old girl? i am 9 years and now i think that he was a bad man. only bad men do this to little girls and now i am afraid to remain a muslim any longer
this letter is been distributed all over the muslim world secretly. what do you think?

There are difference of opinion of scholars regarding the age of Aisha (pbuh) at the time of her marriage with Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), some say 9 , Some say 12 and some say 15. The exact age is not confirmed.

Likewise, the Christian scholars have discrepancy of opinion regarding the age of Mary (pbuh) at the time of birth of Jesus (pbuh), some say 14 , and some say 16.

Aisha pbuh was reached at the age of puberty when she married prophet Muhammad (pbuh). Islam says that anyone can marry when he or she reaches his or her puberty. Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) married with Aisha (pbuh) by her will. Aishah was most pleased with this marriage. Her parents were very pleased with this marriage.

The incident took place 1400 years ago in warm climate region. It should be noted that in the hot regions, it’s normal for a girl to attain maturity at a very early age, India, Saudi Arabia and, other equatorial countries. Even today in these countries, there are cases reported of early maturity. Thus the case is totally different from that which does exist in cold regions where a girl does not attain puberty before 21 [Physicians maintain that the age of puberty in hot regions normally ranges from 9 to 16].

Remember, Isaac (at 40) married Rebekah (the mother of Jacob and Esau), when she was three.

"According to the Midrash, Rebeccah was 3 years old when Abraham sent his loyal servant Eliezer to his family's homeland in Aram-Naharayim to find a wife for Isaac."

How old was Marry when Jesus was born?

How Many wives did Solomon have?, Avraham, Jacob, David, Moses or AH-MOSES, joseph ...etc (May ALLAH Exalt Their Mention)?.

Prophet Muhammad (May ALLAH ALMIGHTY Exalt His Mention) Married Life:

- up to age 25, ceibate

- 25-54, married to one woman, who died when he was 50

- 54-60, multiple wives - after 60, no new wives

Note: he only married women, besides his first wife, for one of two reasons...

1) he married widows of slain warriors. (he once married 3 opposition widows)

2) to make alliances w/opposing tribes

Well I think that it's not right for a 9 year old to be talking about this. Besides the prophet didn't have sex with Aisha when she was 9, they got married when she was 9 but it was more like engagement then they really got married (had sex & all) when she turned 13 (which in hot regions is like 16-18 in colder areas as hot weather makes girls mature & grow faster so at the age of 13 in any hot country like in asia or africa girls are as old as a 17 year old in Europ or America, the closer you get to the equator, the faster kids mature & reach puberty)

So it's not true that he had sex with a 9 year old or even a 13 year old. She was a young woman at that age so it was like she was 16 or 17 (the normal age where most girls lose their verginity in the states & Europ) so it's normal, where's the problem? 13 was her actual age but 17 was her mental & physical age as she was mature enough.

Please if anyone would tell anything to children specially, just check it first before you give them wrong ideas that can ruin their religious beliefs.

My dear little girl,
I creates human and not otherwise,who do you think is a better knower than Allah?Your life today may be different from those who lived in yester years;at 9 your body is biologically matured but unfortunately today most girls' mind are not.There are those who matures both at early age and you do not belong to this category.

Please do not worry too much about petty thing because Allah is the knower of all things.

1: he was only engaged at 9. he married at 13 allahu aalam.
2: back then, arabic girls matured fast so she was like 16 or 17 while she was really 13.

this woman that prophet Muhammad married is the 1st scholar Muslim woman in Islam. after Muhammad death, she carried his message to the next generation, she recorded 25% of his teaching and words. she was more as a student than a wife. she has wisdom and intelligent better than anyone woman in her time (Muslim women). Muhammad was a shy man, he couldn't answer all Question to women, so he used to give them to Aisha. and you weren't living with them to know what happened between Muhammad and Aisha.

the poeple who told these girls that story know nothing about Muhammed's (PBUH) life, if they know anything about Muhammed's life, they will know that Muhammed have morals that no human (among all the humans from Adam & Eve till judgment day) have similar morals to him
he really married a 9 yo girl BUT he didn't do any marriage relation with her untill she was adult enough, how come a man with the morals of Muhammed (PBUH) have sex with a 9 yo girl ?!!
