Could it be overcrowding?

Well, to be fair.... British people don't usually immigrate to another country to claim asylum, do they? And even if they don't always fully integrate into their new environments, i.e. stay within their own expat community, they still usually contribute to the system in some way, e.g. by paying tax. Brits don't really have a problem with foreigners moving to the UK in general, just with those that come over for the sole purpose of sponging off the system. Same as every where else I guess...

I may offend a few people here, be prepeared
The British who have immigrated are generally the go getters, the types to set up businesses, not being content with being born into their station.
It has been proven that African countries have suffered due to slavery as all the genetic "prime stock" was taken, leaving the less able. Do you see were this is going?
Yep you guessed it in Britain we are left with the duffers, the whingers who complain but never do anything, we need an injection from people who want to make something for themselves. Hence the need for immigrants!!

The reason, the people I know, have left the country is that they can't stand the way the UK is being run so badly. The government are all for helping the wrong people and taxing the life out of the honest ones to pay for this help (and the politician wages). I quite agree as well. It's becoming a little embarrassing to admit I'm English.

It is called superiority complex. They feel superior to others and try to make poorer host countriesy feel they are being helped by the presence of British citizens in those conutries. Whereas on the contrary, it is the resources of this poorer countries that is being depleted to their advantage.

They should try to accommodate immigrants as much as possible, but i would also advice that it should be done with restraint. An overflooded UK would feature poor economy, exerted infrastructure and high rate of crime.

Unfortunatly, it's human nature to worry about other people having something that we have and it's our nature to be territorial.
We would rather think about immigrants that so-called "sponge" off of our state and cause trouble, than immigrants that benefit our society, create jobs and help people.

Immigrants not only do the jobs that we wouldn't do like lowly paid jobs, but also bring in a wealth of industrial, medical and social talent. They bring their cultures and alternative view-points. Remember that alot of what we call English culture actually originates from immigrants.

I think we went out and conquered a third of the world and exploited the resources to make ourselves rich and wealthy. We can hardly be surprised if these self same people want to come here and take it back. Good for them I say. They are all welcome as far as I am concerned. It is us that have a debt to repay to them. We shouldn't be squeamish, accept our guilt for our past history of being a slave trading, exploitative , imperialist nation and do something positive to redress the balance.

Every country has the right to protect the rights of its people. Britain has a sizable population of people from all over the world. The word hate used by you is unwanted and does not reflect truth.

The reason is because so many immigrants come to our small island and are overrunning us. Tighten immigration laws and keep it steady not over crowded and full of asylum seekers with criminal records. I don't mind foreigners in the slightest but pay your way and be as the rest of us.

They are all over the world just because there are so many immigrants in the UK! Not rocket science to work that one out, been driven out of their own country!

Only have to ask any ex-pat why they left....

The English don't mind people coming to their country - it's when their country changes too many laws and changes too many things that end up making the country unidentifiable. It isn't much to do with the guests.
