You might be able to fool the minister, but you can't fool God. God looks at your heart. If your words do not match what is in your heart, then you are a liar, and God hates liars. The Bible says that liars will not inherit the kingdom of heaven, which means that they go to hell. A person cannot commit murder with the motivation of being forgiven for it immediately afterward. This is playing God for a fool. This is in the category of blaspheming the Holy Spirit for which there is no forgiveness. Honesty with God is the best policy, along with living the sinless life. In reality, it is impossible to avoid sinning since our souls are in the flesh, but we can use wisdom to avoid as much sin as possible. Contemplating murder is not avoiding sin, I do not care how evil the intended victim might be. God wants ALL to come to the throne of glory and receive Jesus Christ, even wicked men like Adolph Hitler (if he were still alive). All have the ability to receive Jesus Christ, which is what makes murder such a horrible crime---it robs a sinner of the chance to repent and it answers hate with hate. It would be better if the assassin would turn evangelist. Jesus loves you.

Well, spiritual view would look at the gospels in the bible and say that Jesus said no more eye for an eye. One might say that if you can't create life that you have no right to destroy life. There are two sets of laws, Gods and mans. What we do through Gods direction and mans direction are both judged by God in the end. Just some thoughts. Good Luck

You do not speak of "who" or what authority commanded the 'hit'. You do not speak of whether or not the target was convicted thru a due process or suspected by speak.
A 'hitman' does not act autonomously, he/she must be commanded by a convening authority.
By this criteria I don't know if you are speaking of an assassin or a hitman.
The fact that you cannot relinquish your shame in the confessional indicates that you are in fact sinful. Forgiveness is an absence of guilt/blame, Sinfulness lives in guilt and blame.
Retaining that indicates that you have not turned that deed over to the power to which you confess. You are harboring it in the darkness and not putting it to the light, which is what is indicated by confessing sin to one other than yourself.

The person you use in your example is just as sinful as the "bad man" he assasinated, don't be so bloody naive - Cold blooded murder is a sin just like the man he assasinated who was involved in dodgy dealings - You are both sinners!!!

No, I don't think so. It's his job, and sometimes a hitman doesn't have a choice, unless he wants to be a hit.

Thou shalt not kill as one of the 10 Commandments of GOD which Jesus Christ changed in general.... LOVE ONE ANOTHER AS I HAVE LOVED YOU. Well, he's a sinner. But then, if he will ask forgiveness from GOD with open heart, I am sure, GOD will forgive. Though it made HIM sad to see the way he lives, GOD WILL ALWAYS SAY "I FORGIVE"as the song goes.

com' on, man, every minute of our lives is sinful, and the hitman does it as a job...of course i dissaprove this, but that doesn't make more pure than him, just because i don't break the law......

Of course its a sin to kill..even if it was a bad person. The only time I think its not is when it is in self-defense.
