How do you use a .rar file?

I was wondering how to actually use a .rar file. I have WinRAR program installed. I have a .rar file that I downloded. I need to be able to use this file. What do I do?

.rar file is same as .zip file. You can open it using WinRAR program. If WinRAR is already installed on u'r machin by double clicking the .rar file will automatically open it using RAR program same as when we try to open a .zip file.

Right click the *.rar file and select the command “Extract here …” You’ll See the contents of the file in the same folder. WinRAR is an excellent software for compressing!
