Don't avoid all carbs..just the bad ones. Eat a whole grain cereal and fruit. I dont call eggs and bacon healthy or a breakfast to lose weight.

Well this morning I had a low fat yoghurt, with a tablespoon of muesli sprinkled over top, with two amonds, cut up pear and a banana.
Other days a good thing to have is porridge, as it will keep you full for a long time with its low glametic index, or whole grain toast with a low calorie spread on it. I have Marmite, cause there are no calories, but I think you can only buy that in New Zealand or Australia. Good luck!
Oh and cereal is alright if its not coated with sugar. Cornflakes or Ricies should be fine, or wheatbiskuits.

Eggs are okay if they are boiled or poached.
Avoid Oily things like bacon or susages.Toast and a glass of Lemon juice is what I recommend.Avoid sweets! Or at least cut down on them! I recommend that dietarys eat a pickle shortly after they get up! Yes that's true about excercise! If wanting cereal Special K is best but put diced fruit with it instead of sugar and milk!

Making sure that you are adequately hydrated is the most important rule for breakfast. During sleep the body continues to process calories through breathing, turning, etc... The body at rest will continue to work internally. See the link below to learn more about thyroid function. It is important to know if your body is processing (metabolizing) properly. It is a simple blood test often taken along with a cholesterol test. Speak with your physician prior to engaging in any drastic changes to your diet. It can affect your health dramatically.

yes you have to cut down on your carbs, try milk cereal and egg white.
and yes it is absolutely true to give your body some rest for the muscles to regenerate and build lost tissues. evaluate your complete diet and not only breakfast if you want to loose weight. try getting in more protein if you workout....

Go ahead and eat cereal--just not the super sugary kinds like froot loops or cocoa puffs.
Also, if you want to help your muscles after a workout use Glutamine.
