It wasn't going to be the 80's style or one of those facinators. I was thinking more sexy Bianca Jagger wedding hat & outfit or Grace Kelly in High Society but point taken!

Hats are very commonly worn by female guests in UK & Ireland.

The hat styles from the 80s and the hat/veil combination are not flattering. But the styles worn by guests are generally flattering. Try them on and see what you think.

Depends on the wedding- hats are uncommon now but can be lovely- especially with a wedding suit.

If you are thinking Jackie-O, go for it.

Depends on the hat, really. And your age. But hats are classy. Just not quite as fashionable as they once were. Maybe you can help bring them back.

Personally I am not a fan of wedding hats, but it is your wedding, if you like hats go for it.
