Are the concepts of "religion & spirituality" exclusive to Christianity?

Maybe small minds make broad assumptions................

Small minds are already making broad assumptions. I should re-phrase the question: Why do some Christians think that only Christians have a sense of religion and/or spirituality?

Hello.I find it amazing and strange, but i don t think that is a good assumption, basically because of what Jesus Christ represents.
The Bible says in the book of John 3:17 that"He came not to condemn the world(or non-christains),but that the world through him may be reconcilled with the father".
So my friend,if you have had any funny experience,i want to apologise to you as a friend and brother and also let ou know that Jesus loves you and so do I.
God bless you.

Well, look: Just how perspicacious do you have to be to wait 2000 years for the return of the son of your Skydaddy? Especially when he skipped out, saying "Be right back, kids! Just you wait!"
I mean, talk about your loser religions. Where's their god? Why... um... he's dead. Why does your god of "peace and love" let all this violence and death and hate happen? Why ... um ... you'll find peace when you are dead.
Any religion based on rewards after the believers are dead is a frickin' scam, a priori. And Christianity is the worst about this ... sacrifice, give, suffer on Earth, because it's gonna be really really nice when you are DEAD.
These are not just "small minds." These are delusional minds, seeking comfort in their misery. These are the lazy being told there will be pie in the sky. These are the huddled masses being told not even to bother to yearn to be free, because ole Skydaddy's got it covered ... later.
Makes me shudder to think that these idiots are allowed to vote.

There is no one true religion , there is only God.

Religions are man made. They are a mortal means by which man can try to understand and commune with God.

God is of infinte intellegence, he is omniscient and omnipresent.

Man has several different levels of civilization, from people who still live in caves naked to people walking around with ipods.

Do you think God of infinte intellegence would make one religion that would be the true one?- no They would have to be several ways that several differnt levels of humanity could come to undertand God.

Of Course man screws things up- I grew up Christian and of course Christians think that if you are not Christian you will suffer in hell.

And of course Muslims must fly planes into buildings to make their point.

Just love your neighbor and love and acknowledge God.

Why must their be a them and us mentality thats what gets me whats wrong with being a non belivor I beileve but I refuse to ram my religon down other peoples throats and I also refuse to give religous answers to non religous questions example a question about the big bang that created the universe ended up in a debate about the exsistance of god totally ignoring the askers orignal question.

I don't get upset with others who think there is another type of religion or sprituality on this site. I, get aggravated that if you will notice, most of the "non believers" who come to this site do so to rag on christians. they don't believe like we do, but they sure think we should believe like they do. They name call, critize and say horrible things about the Lord. I think that's what upsets Christians on this site.

The beliefs they have chosen are indefensible, thus, they become hostile when those beliefs are disputed and refuted.

It's not the fact that we are IN this section that bothers them, it's the common sense that we continually batter into their brains that gets them irritated.

I'm not a christian but I have noticed a lot of uninvited insults and superiority directed towards christians from atheists and agnostics.

That would get very old very fast.
