Yes, I believe the commandment stated "Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's @ss" and the next one said "Thou shalt not booger thy neighbor's @ss" or something like that.

Hell yeah... it is! and it's a popular topic, you'll get lots of replies here because people love to talk about this and they get a vicarious thrill by doing so...

Miriam M above is quite mistaken, the sins of the people of Sodom & Gomorrah were never specified...it was general sinfulness and inhospitality...
the attempted raping of the angels came after the cities were already condemned so that wasn't the cause of the destruction and angels don't have bottoms so it would not have been possible to rape them that way...certainly raping angels is nothing to do with gays...the whole story is ridiculous and misinterpreted by phobic people for their own half -baked reasons.

No, it is not acceptable. The anus is for release of bile and waste not for abominable sexual acts not even between a man and a woman. Lacerations or tears from the abusive act causes hemorrhoid problems and much worse infections and diseases or you and others will be walking around with colostomy bags therefore it is not meant to be.
God wants the sexual act to be pure and holy between a man and a woman not defiled.

I don't know. But this is the reply of Shiite Islam:
Question : When a woman is in her period, can she have anal intercourse?

§ Answer : If wife is consenting to it, it is permissible but it would be extremely abominable.

§ Question : Is anal intercourse permissible.?

§ Answer : Permission is bound to wife’s agreement, but it is strongly undesirable.

The Bible does not directly mention anal sex at all. I think that its 'take' on the matter is that it depends whose anus. If it's your spouse - a member of the opposite sex - then it is OK. Otherwise it isn't, for reasons having nothing to do with which orifice is used.

I've read the Bible and I don't recall anything Kama Sutra-esque about it. I'm pretty sure I would've remembered any references to anal sex in there. I suggest you read it yourself but I don't think GOD ever mentioned proper sexual positions.
