DC circuit- cut the red wire its hot, Blue is MAYBE ground. Seldom is a red wire used for ground- in fact, I've never seen it done except on POSITIVE grounded chassis cars made before 1980.

Ifs its an AC (Like household) both Red, Black and Blue are hot- usually different phases. White is neutral (return path for the "hots") and the green is the safety ground and is NOT supposed to conduct electricty during NORMAL operation. (Yeah right- I know)

If its a Bomb,,,and its at your ex wifes house and you DIDN'T put it there? Take a can of yellow spray paint and circle the bomb- this tells the Bomb Squad "DO NOT DISARM- BLOW IN PLACE"

Stay well clear of wires at all costs. Only a trained wire cutter should cut wires, be they red, blue or even multicoloured

Try one of the numerous on-line directories; yell, scoot etc for specialist wire cutters in your area.

Good luck and I hope the specialist chooses well.

Can you hear anything ticking ?
So - get a coin and flip it.
Heads for red.
Tails for blue.
10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 2, 2, 2, 2.
Well Done !
I suggest you now ring MI5 and put yourself up for 007 !

Don't try to cut the wire. Instead, only realize the truth.... There is no wire.
