I guess if i weighed 40 stones, the water would be the only place I could find for a bit of buoyancy. Guess hippos feel the same!

It's Because Hippos are to heavy, when in the water their weight is reduced, I mean just imagine a 1 ton guy on your back, humping you wouldn't you do it in the water too?
