I hate them too. I can't eat a whole one. Too think of a meat gets me thinking....is it cooked enough? I don't even want to look at it and think too much. Why waste part of a burger, bun, and everything on it when I can make a thinner one and eat it all. It has to be more of a proper serving size if it's smaller. ANYTHING I make a sandwich out of I want it to be cut or made thin. I don't order burgers in restaurants they are just too thick (with the exception of a fast food place once in awhile)

I agree with you as I don't eat big portions of meat. Guys on the other hand love thick hamburgers.

2"?!?! That is a little much...spread it out to 1"-1 1/4" and rare, thank you!

they're difficult and messy to eat because of their thickness.

I like 'em, tho.

Kincaid's and Tommy's are my favorites or homemade on the grill.
