Two sisters were guilty of "committing whoredoms" by pressing their breasts and bruising "the teats of their virginity." As a punishment, one sister's nakedness was discovered, her children were taken from her, and she was killed by the sword. And the fate of the surviving sister was even worse: Her nose and ears were cut off, she was made to "pluck off" her own breasts, and then after being raped and mutilated, she is stoned to death. Don't forget Lot's daughters getting him drunk and having sex with him because they wanted to get pregnant by thier father. The Bible has more perverted sex than R. Kelly's home movies.

Friend, howmany years back it has been written? Who has written? What was he? When people argue whether there was anybody by the name of Christ lived ever, how can you be so sure of he said all these. Might have written by some pope who liked perversion. Think, there was no communication from one place to another as we do now. Any perverted mind can say that this is god's gospel and publish in that society. When that society grows it might have got carried along. Can we stop searching in old books for our problems now. The entire truth will be revealed to you if you are ready to look at your own mind from different dimensions. May be some help required for that. But, you have to be your light to your freedom and ultimate knowledge.

religion is meant to be lived as a way of life. children rarely pick up a bible and start reading; generally they are given specific passages by teachers/parents/etc. and learn from these. morals are taught via these religious books. the contents include stories and teachings for every day life, too, but these aren't shared with the younger generations until they are older/more mature.

The Bible has its flaws, what did you expect? Its not perfect. I once commented to a local priest about its contents of rapes, Betrayals, murders. incest, mass murders, parricide, slaughters, infanticides, and genocides, you should have seen his face turned ashen. He berated me for criticizing the bible. That's why I've never returned to the church again!

The bible myths were so popular because they were prehistoric porn. Everyone loves porn, even prehistoric people.

I wonder if people realize that if a movie was made based on the bible, with no editing the content, it would be rated "X"?
