It depends on your definition of Religion. The Websters Dictionary says that a religion is an organization whose purpose is to worship God. But also is listed, "a doctrine or custom based on faith".
So, I guess that's your answer. Secular Humanism is officially listed by the government as a religion and they don't believe in God. Science with it's unproven doctrine of evolution has not only
reached religion status in the Western world, it has become the State Religion of the USA.

The question is god and religion are same or different, the answer given by one among the muslim memeber of the chat room is asking to see a website "money to help the poor". I know muslims are using the donated money for terrrorist activities. Be aware of them.

No. Religion reflects your preference in the teachings of prophets and wise men...your agreement with religious doctrine. God is much broader than this and encompasses many belief systems. God is all inclusive...religion can be very divisive.

Absolutely not. Religion causes the problems in this world, not individual beliefs in god. Religion is poison to the masses.

No. There are no gods in Buddhism--at least gods that are worshipped; some Buddhists believe we can reincarnate in a god realm as gods, but there is no worship of the Buddha.
