If you're from the northwest a keg of Fat Tire is popular at parties.
How about this if you are entertaining people that will eventually go streaking after drinking as much as possible to get drunk, get a cheap Keg of PBR.
If you are entertaining legitimate guests and want to give them some good beer there must be a local brewery somewhere that will sell kegs. If you are somewhere that doesnt have such a thing then Sam Adams is a good beer.

I'm a big fan of beer from the Sprecher Brewery in Milwaukee, WI but I think you must live in or around the area to get it in kegs. Otherwise, Leinenkugels makes some great beer - not too expensive but better than that Bud or Miller crap.

Bud Light. I've come to notice from college parties that I used to go to that guys will drink anything, but females usually prefer light beer.
