Hey sounds like me... My wedding is on April 14th (2007) and my birthday is april 12th. I would say that you could combine the two and maybe have a Happy birthday/wedding cake. Other elce then that Make the reseption your birtday party as well. Hope you have fun and good luck with the wedding.

I would strongly advise against using the two together. Even though everyone considers the wedding to be the bride's day, it is really a celebration of your love and marriage. That is an entirely different thing than your birthday. I think if you'll be belittling what your wedding is all about if you try to work your birthday in their somehow.

I don't know if you meant february 2007, but anyways since your wedding is the 11 and your birthday is the 13 why don't you just combine the 2 and have a valentines' day theme wedding? I think that's a good idea. What about you?

You must mean 2007, I think you should just have maybe a small party with just your close family for your birthday, unless you are just doing it for the gifts. I would tell them "Don't give me Birthday gifts, because I will get plenty at my wedding".You will get a ton of gifts for your wedding I wouldn't get greedy about it. Maybe you will be on your honeymoon on your Bday, just spend it with your new husband. After you get older birthdays are just another day.

Keep them totally separate! It will be hard enough later when your anniversary and your birthday are close together - people will be combining greetings and gifts! Poor you... Oh, wait - if your wedding was already in Feb. you are already married! Congrats!

I don't think it's really gonna work, It's your wedding and it's your only day to feel like a princess, birthdays come evey year. Remember it's you partners wedding to and there special day also, just celebrate your birthday separately. Your wedding day should be about the two of you, not only about you!!!!!!!!

February 11, 2006 has already come and gone, so what are you talking about? Weddings and birthdays are two totally different things and cannot really be combined.

That's double dipping- and bday parties for adults are passe.
You are already dangerously close to a holiday (V day) so don't even go there.
Sorry so blunt, but really, THINK about it.

Have a dance to the tune of "Happy Birthday", but otherwise play it down. You don't want your guests to feel like they are being solicited for further gifts.
