A concert is good if you know what kind of music the other person likes.
I grew up in Jersey and going to the boardwalk was always a good date. I like Seaside, but Wildwood works too.
The best date is going to the drive in movies. I'm not sure where you live but you can check on line to find a drive in theater. My favorite is Becky's in Walnutport, PA, they have real butter for the popcorn. Get there early, they sellout.
It would be fun to take a cooking class or goto a cooking demonstration.
Some people enjoy hiking and nature walks and other outdoor activities, I think it's torture, so check with the other person first. I just moved to Wyoming and alot of the girls here really like to go ATVing and fishing and hunting, again I think this is torture so check with the other person.
There are the old standbys, dinner and a movie, dance club, jazz club, cook dinner for the other person, see a play, go to an art gallery.

i think that a second date is very important because i believe that this is the transition stage where they dnt no if the feelings ar efor sure or if its just a one time thing and the butterflies r gone so i think that a good second date would be a picnic at the beach but probably not at night time because they may feel a bit uncomfortable seeing as most pple that do candle lite things and big romantic things on only th esecond date look like they r not into u but into the sex! :)

Depending on the type of people you and your date are it can vary from a moonlight stroll to an amusement park.

I live in Pensacola,FL and it is always nice to go to the club then the beach. You get to do the whole social thing, then get one on one time in a nice setting.
