Why do you specify christians? Many people hate, and some profess to be christians, even though hate is condemned all through the bible. Many are muslims, some are Jewish. Religion has nothing to do with hate, other than indirectly as an excuse.

Also there are many types of christians, many who may be overly judgemental, again, even though this is condemned universally by all christian doctrines. I know a bit about this subject, since I am an ordained minister.

I resent the comment made earlier by someone that Christianity has spilled the most blood, in the strongest possible terms! Christianity has never spilled any blood whatsoever. People have spilled blood. Some have used religion as an excuse, but that is all that it was...an excuse. The taking of human life is condemned universally and except in the extreme case of defense, with no choice, one of the most serious sins a person can commit.

Many people who become overly zeaolous in their percieved religious duty, do so because they are unhappy or unsatisfied with thier own lives. It is possible that they can only feel worthwhile by putting themselves above someone else, and religion is a convienient excuse to justify thier behavior. I have (and continue to) helped many people to get a grip on this, and similar problems.

I am sorry that some misguided people who profess to be christians have ruffled your feathers. But if you are meeting that many of them, then I submit that the problem may be more with you, and/or your life situation. Why are you attracting so many of these kinds of people? And where?

I would recommend examining yourself and life critically, and see where you could make some beneficial changes, if indicated.

Please feel free to e-mail me if I can be of any assistance to you in this matter. I am confidential, non-denominational, non-judgemental and I only want what God wants for everyone....to be happy, healthy and successful in whatever paths you choose to follow.

I am a Christian and I do not hate anyone. Even those who are seriously persecuting me (if you think a few emailed insults is bad try being arrested for being a christian) I call everyone a sinner (including myself) that is not an insult that is just a fact it is like saying everyone "breathes." I don't tell anyone what to do except to remind them that if the creator wants us to do something it would behoove us to do it. As far as other religions hating people I would not presume to judge anyone else but I do know that my Lord did say that I would be hated because I was a Christian (and I was not to hate back) and it seems to me that THAT is the REAL state of affairs in this world.

Please take time to read all of my answer.

I am a Christian and I don't hate anyone. As a Christian, I am supposed to help people learn about God and teach them about Salvation and getting to Heaven.

I don't attack anyone for what they believe. I just do my best to let others know about God and how he loves each and every one of us equally. No one is more important than anyone else in His eyes.

I think it would be nice of you to not label all Christians as mean and hateful. We (Christians) are ALL sinners, and if someone cannot admit that they sin, they have some problems to work out for themselves.

I sin every day. I am not perfect and I would NEVER tell anyone that I think that I am. I know that if I am sincerely sorry for things I have done and that if I ask God to forgive me, that He will. That is why Jesus died on the cross, so that we could be forgiven from our sins.

I hope that you open your mind to the fact that not all Christians are like the people you describe. They aren't being true Christians by hating other people and answering questions in a mean way. I will say a prayer for all of those people tonight, that they might realize the message they are sending to non-Christians. I can understand why people would think negatively of Christians if all they see is hate and insults.

I hope I have shown you that not all "Christians" are like you described in you question. I will also say a prayer for you tonight so that God will bless you in your life and will in some way help you see the truth, that He is the creator and that He sent His son to die for our sins. I am not perfect. I have problems in my life just like everyone else. I'll pray for myself tonight too so that God can help me fix the problems in my life. You might think I am full of crap, but that is part of being a Christian. Laying yourself out there for other people to ridicule and laugh at. That is fine with me if that is what you want to do. The decision is yours. Hope it's the right one. If you ever want to talk about Christianity or anything else, you can email me through answers. You may not want to, but I will be glad to share with you what I know. If I don't have all the answers (which I don't), I will do my best to find them.

God bless you.

I wasn't aware I hated people? I am a Christian. I've never been told before that I hated people and especially not by a total stranger. People who know me the closest know that I love people and overcommit to do for others when I need to be taking care of my own family and health. And I don't know why I would send you unfavorable email, because I sure don't like getting it. So, I'm rather confused, somewhat like your question seems to be, as to why you would make such a large generalization, and you haven't met me?

I am not religious so I can answer

I don't hate people. I love all people but I hate sin.

I am a Christ follower and the people above except for maybe the people who called you sinners (as we all fall short of the glory of God and were all once in the world and dead in our sin) are not Christians. Jesus gave his people two commandments to follow

1 Love the Lord your God with all your heart all your mind and all your soul

2 Love one another as I have loved you.

Keep these two and all the other 10 fall into line.

Actually the Islam faith has a passage in its bible that states to kill all infidels there is nothing in the Christian bible that states we should speak ill of other people. Our christian bible says our words have the power of life or death, i.e. to lead to salvation or to curse to hell. Chose your words carefully...

True Christians aren't crazy. If they are harassing you they are probably a weird cult. True Christians love God and try to obey Him as best they can. If we can change some people along the way even better, but I'm not gonna get all hellfire and brimstone on you. Not my style.

Christians love people but sometimes, some christians judge others which is WRONG! I'm a Christian and I try not to judge anybody because I don't know their relationship with God. I don't know yours but now that I've seen your question, I'm worried about your soul...You're right about some of them...they do act like they hate people unless they believe the way they do. I think it might be they don't want to communicate with non-christians because they don't think they're strong enough christians to handle the temptations...it's easier for them to appear like they don't like you because you're a non-christian..(not you personally, I'm talking of people in general). That way, if you looked like you were having fun but it was something they felt was a sin they won't fall into your way of doing things...

Just think about it, Out of all religions, Christianity has spilled the most blood! It is a religion that was forced down everyones throats. Do think there is a such thing as love in such a religion?

You seem to have aone sided opinion of christians. I am sorry for the way you have been treated it was not nice and a true christian should not act that way. To quote the Bible and tell you what it says is onething to condem you is wrong.I try to l ive by"Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." Have a nice day.

The haters come almost exclusively from the arch-conservative branches of the Christian faith. People like Jerry Falwell, Pat Robertson, Fred Phelps, and other promenent conservative Christians fall into that catagory. Creationists atre also often from this group, attacking anything and everything that does not fall in line with their dogma. It would indeed be better if they were nicer, kinder people. Unfortunately their religion gives them convienent rationalizations to continue their misanthropy.
