The bible states that we his folowers are the body of christ...some make up his hands some his his feet and so on, but that he is the head so that we might have the mind of christ. Therefore the building is only a place where beleivers or the body of christ come together to strenghten all the body parts and the pastor will read the word of god so the mind of christ is present. therefore if 2 or more are gathered christ is present with us and we fellowship, we just find it more socially acceptable to go to a building and also convenient to meet at one place, but the body of christ can move around as needed to do the work of god, so the people are the church not the building.

yes it is... a church is the building... the physical structure you go to have fellowship with people of the same faith (as you have)
it is the Church that is not...
...there is one body of Christ, & it is also called the Church (or the Church of Christ)
...it is this accumulation of people that makes up the whole body of Christ or the Church
... sounds confusing, because it is & it will take up a lot of space to elaborate

The church may not be a building, but it is a structure engineered by men nonetheless.
The body of Christ is one way of interpreting how the human race can survive as a whole by respecting its parts.

People are the body. A church isn't a building, it's the people inside.

Christ said where two or three are gattered in my name.... I believe this constitutes church where ever you want. like the outdoors can be a church if you really praise him. The church of Christ must be held in seriesness.

"Why isn't the church a building?"
I thought it was.I thought that faith is what you have and a church is where you go to be taught about your faith.
"Explain the body of Christ?"
The body of Christ.Ok, it had two eyes, one nose, one mouth, two legs, two arms, ten fingers and ten toes, skin, blood, internal organs, a small amount of electrical energy, was able to ingest air and water and substances, had a complex digestive system, and excreted unused components of that which was ingested through urination and fecal matter as well as through hair and nails.
That is a rough description.
