Ye Olde Hickory

Reminds me of a joke.

A doctor walks into a bar every day and has the same drink; a daquiri with a hazelnut. One day the barkeeper sees the doctor walk in and realizes he is out of hazelnuts, so he makes the drink with a hickory nut.

I don't know about "ye old hickory" but in his day President Andrew Jackson was nicknamed Old Hickory for his toughness.
