In the book of James (5:14) there is a procedure or fomula for healing. Which churches follow this?

14 Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:
15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.

We attend a Missionary Bible Church and we follow the passage with the understanding that God does not always heal the physical body here on earth, but he does always heal the soul. I've been a part of an Indpendent Baptist Church that also followed this passage. I have not found this to be so in large churches, but usually in smaller ones, but then I am from a small rural area - it's like it is unbecoming in the larger, wealthier churches in our area and many have even looked at me in shock and dismay as though they didn't even know the passage was in the Bible, let alone the book of James. What is to be noted here is that the prayer of faith shall lead to salvation of the sick, this does not necessarily mean a physical healing, and the Lord will raise him up, if not in this physical flesh in the spirit at death, and his sins will be forgiven him. It is actually reaching the soul more so than the physical ailment of a person. If the soul is filled with Christ and a hungering for Christ, then any physical ailment is but a nuisance and not consuming of ones life - their consuming desire is for more of Christ.

i'm Apatheist: I dont care if there's a god or not. Atheists probable ask why you deny Godzilla's existence. more beneficial than 1/2 the international believes in Allah and Mohammed. we are hominids so no. The atheists seem good to me, yet as an apatheist I do exactly not care. Atheists do not trust in an invisible hominid in outer area.
