Yes. The human ear is a marvellous thing. Even one ear can sense direction of sound. But obviously do not use headphones but place the speakers strategically apart on the hearing side - try it!

I'm totally deaf in one ear. I cannot detect what direction any sound is from. By the way, I treasure the one ear I have, use ear muffs etc.....Please be careful, guys & guyesses, keep the music low, it will make you loose your hearing if its too loud.

Not as much, it depends on the level of hearing in that ear. People also pick up bass sounds through sensing vibrations with their skulls
