Have you met his family? Is he the head of a household in good standing? Does he teach all his followers how to preach and teach the Bible, as Jesus instructed? Does he believe that people should come together for worship, instead of praying at home, alone, as Jesus said those most blessed should do? Does he believe that retail business, such as the selling of his books, be conducted in the church, like the exchangers of money in the Temple at the time of Jesus? Does he rely on idolic symbols to place one's faith in, instead of finding it in the human heart? Answer these and you will have an answer to your question.

do you need a pastor?

the best way to learn an understand is to do it yourself. If you follow a pastor, you are following man He is an educated man, but be careful not to put your faith in him.

He is not the shepherd, so don't be a sheep.

I have no idea, but it's not the man that you should be following but the message that he brings. He is still just a man and will fall short....so be careful and pray that God give you discernment to lead you to where you need to be.

You have to accept Jesus, confess your sins,& be baptized.Just accepting Jesus doesn't get you saved.
