Well..... this is THE problem of problems. First, you have to be able to define what G-o-d is.
Then what are some examples of what Gods are like? This is so we have something to compare G-o-d to.
We, the human race do not have any. That is, other than our concepts of ultimate fuzzy thinking stuff that nobody can really explain.
So the short answer to your question is no. We can neither prove or disprove the existence of God.
Then we have to ask ourselves why attempt to prove God exist?
I may say well, I want to know in case God wants to punish me for not believing in him.
Hmmmm! If God can not provide ultimate proof of his own existence, to my puny little mind of which HE created, then maybe this is a moot point. Either HE doesnt care if I know or HE does not exist.
(I said all of this with ultimate respect to the person asking this serious question.)

PROOFS AND EVIDENCES OF THE EXISTENCE OF GOD
One of the proofs and demonstrations of the existence of God is the fact that man did not create himself: nay, his creator and designer is another than himself.
It is certain and indisputable that the creator of man is not like man because a powerless creature cannot create another being. The maker, the creator, has to possess all perfections in order that he may create.
Can the creation be perfect and the creator imperfect? Can a picture be a masterpiece and the painter imperfect in his art? For it is his art and his creation. Moreover, the picture cannot be like the painter; otherwise, the painting would have created itself. However perfect the picture may be, in comparison with the painter it is in the utmost degree of imperfection.
The contingent world is the source of imperfections: God is the origin of perfections. The imperfections of the contingent world are in themselves a proof of the perfections of God.
For example, when you look at man, you see that he is weak. This very weakness of the creature is a proof of the power of the Eternal Almighty One, because, if there were no power, weakness could not be imagined. Then the weakness of the creature is a proof of the power of God; for if there were no power, there could be no weakness; so from this weakness it becomes evident that there is power in the world. Again, in the contingent world there is poverty; then necessarily wealth exists, since poverty is apparent in the world. In the contingent world there is ignorance; necessarily knowledge exists, because ignorance is found; for if there were no knowledge, neither would there be ignorance. Ignorance is the nonexistence of knowledge, and if there were no existence, nonexistence could not be realized.
It is certain that the whole contingent world is subjected to a law and rule which it can never disobey; even man is forced to submit to death, to sleep and to other conditions -- that is to say, man in certain particulars is governed, and necessarily this state of being governed implies the existence of a governor. Because a characteristic of contingent beings is dependency, and this dependency is an essential necessity, therefore, there must be an independent being whose independence is essential.
In the same way it is understood from the man who is sick that there must be one who is in health; for if there were no health, his sickness could not be proved.
Therefore, it becomes evident that there is an Eternal Almighty One, Who is the possessor of all perfections, because unless He possessed all perfections He would be like His creation.
Throughout the world of existence it is the same; the smallest created thing proves that there is a creator. For instance, this piece of bread proves that it has a maker.
Praise be to God! the least change produced in the form of the smallest thing proves the existence of a creator: then can this great universe, which is endless, be self-created and come into existence from the action of matter and the elements? How self-evidently wrong is such a supposition!
These obvious arguments are adduced for weak souls; but if the inner perception be open, a hundred thousand clear proofs become visible. Thus, when man feels the indwelling spirit, he is in no need of arguments for its existence; but for those who are deprived of the bounty of the spirit, it is necessary to establish external arguments.

i'm Catholic and that i completely understand your opinion and that i understand your emotions. it truly is actual that you'll neither instruct or disprove God's existance. there are certain memories from the Bible, which includes the tale of the flood, the position scientists have got here across info of a wide flood in the realm the position the backyard of Eden is idea to have existed. Does this instruct that God is actual? No. It merely proves there grow to be a flood. no remember what faith you opt on, you're guided by technique of your human being faith. You wont recognize for constructive till you're useless (probably). right that's how I continually appeared at it: in case you've faith in God all of your existence and once you die he's not actual, you're useless, so that you do not even recognize. in case you do not count number on God all of your existence, and also you die and he's actual, that type of sucks. I recognize it may be considered immature; that's merely what I continually idea about it. Your get at the same time is kickass! i love it- makes you imagine :]

To those who doubt, no explanation will suffice, but to those who believe, no explanation is necessary.
Some people know there is a God because they have been personally touched by the infinite nature of God's Love and Light, but proving that to someone who chooses the illusion of separation from God is not possible. A person has to choose to see, and once they do, the proof is all around them.
All of these questions about proof become obsolete once you realized that we all have the ability to be in direct communication with the Creator, and infact our nervous systems were designed to experience contact and communication with univeral consciousness. It is just that most of Humanity has chosen to sever the link long ago, which is why we needed prophets who came to help reestablish the link. Once you are in communication you realize that is it only a matter of time before people just wake up and receive direct answers to their questions about who they are, why they are here, and how the universe really works. Anyone can commune with the Source. It is our birthright. Just choose to reestablish the communication link and ask to be awakened to your true relationship to the Divine Creator, and you will become aligned with a path that will open you up to universe consciousness. This is part of your potential.

I believe so, but it would take a lot of study.
If you study the natural processes of the Earth enough, you may like me come to the conclusion that the Earth is a giant perpetual motion machine designed to support us.
Not only don't humans fit in, but the machine doesn't even work.
Something must not only have started the machine (and give it a little kick from time to time), but also had a reason to make the machine (us?).
It gets a little complicated proving it, the processes are so large and involved that keeping only a small part of it in your head at any one time is very difficult.
But I think it MAY be possible.
Of course you can always take the STRICTLY scientific viewpoint, and make up 70% of the Universe with something you cannot see nor detect. (That would be 'dark matter')
Not meaning to make fun of the theoretical physicists, they get closer and closer all the time. They just have difficulty ever screwing up a piece of paper and binning it.

I don't know if God exists. I don't think you do either. I don't know if we can prove or disprove God's existence with the tools we have available now, but I doubt we can do either yet. Actually, I think we could live our lives the best we can whether or not "God" exists. Why not concentrate on that instead of talking about this "God" story?

Not unless you are dead, but most people believe he exists in essence. I was never a true believer until I read The Souls Journey, by Peter Richelieu... the book made me realise there is alot going on in the universe of which we have no comprehension. If you can find the book, read it thoroughly, as it will open up and answer all the questions about life, you ever sought to answer. Try Amazon.

There is no way to prove or disapprove the existence of God. It all comes down to either believe that God exists or don't. There is no possible way to come to an EXACT answer. It all depends on you.

Not with (what we today call) the scientific method, you can neither prove or disprove God's exsistence.
But by ordinary reason you will reach the conclusion that there must be a God.
