because when people are done eating all the blood goes down to their stomach to digest the food. therefore leaving the brain with less blood and the same for the rest of the body. That is why you feel tired.

Because, after we are done with eating, the digestion process starts in our stomach, and that process consumes a lot of our energy and blood flow.
We feel tired because we are spending a lot of energy to digest the food - it's like exercising, except that you are not moving, your organs are.

Plus, like another said, the brain releases endorphins, that make us feel happy and relaxed.
