Fear of death, fear of damnation...what ever. It seems to me that Atheists are the most disliked group (in the united states) because the religious types perhaps envy them deep down for not living in fear.

Thats why they have sins, to control peoples actions and thats why they try to force their beliefs on others by ignoring the separation of church and state.

I think this theory is sound. What say you, Christ Cultists?

I say you're confused. WE don't live in fear. WE know where we're going when we die. Do you? You don't just cease to exist. Please, hear the truth. I don't know which Christians have been mean to you but as a Christian we are to love the person, but not the sin (since we all sin). By wanting the 10 commandments in schools, or Bible or something is not wrong, our country was founded on it. Our founding fathers were Christians. They came here to freely follow Christ. Or country was founded on Biblical morals, don't go against that. The more we do, the more we heed down a path of destruction. Already, evil is rampant, the days are becoming more evil. One day you will see there is a God, Jesus, the One Who died for you and me, our sins, so we could live with Him in Heaven. There's no way we can totally understand the Power and awesomeness of forever, our minds are too finite. Don't reject the truth. It's not a cult, it's a relationship w/ the Maker of Heaven and earth. WE (people) didn't come out of nowhere. The probabilty of that is so small. That's like saying if you put a bunch of wood in a pile it will eventually become a house. I don't live in fear. I live in trust of a living God. I know He's there, I know he cares for you. Don't reject Him. I don't mean to preach at you, I just love my God so much, it's hard to not talk about Him.

I don't know any Christians who "lash out" at atheists. If you are asking why Christians oppose the statements that atheists make it's because as followers of Jesus Christ who is the way, the truth and the life, we don't want to allow lies to go unchallenged.

An atheist, by faith built upon nothing more than their own reasoning denies the existence of God. A Christian has the outward evidence of God as seen in creation, in the Scriptures and in the evidence of fulfilled prophecy and miracles and the life of Jesus to back up their faith as well as the inward evidence of the changed life that they experience when the Holy Spirit of God takes up residence in them.

God hates lies and so do his children, especially lies that lead people to eternal damnation and separation from their Creator. Saying that people use sin to control other people's lives is only true of cults and not main stream Christianity.

I am a Christian I don't think all Christians lash out at Athiests. I don't envy Atheists for not having any fear. Real Christians have a personal relationship with Christ and just want to share this gift of salvation with others. I think the main reason why people don't want accept this message is they want to stay in control of their own lives and don't want to allow God (Jesus) to have control of their lives.

I had answered another of your questions last night about the resurrection of Christ and wanted to add a piece of Scripture for you to chew on: 1 Corinthians 15: 1-21: (Paul is the author of this passage in his letter to the Corinthians) " Moreover, beretheren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand, by which also you are saved, if you hodl fast that word which I preached to you - unless you believed in vain.

For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures, and that He was seen by Cephas, then by the twelve (Disciples). After that He was seen by over five hundred bretheren at once, of whme the greater part remain to the present, but some have fallen asleep (some are alive, at this writing, but some have died). After that He was seen by James, then by all the apostles. Then last o fall, He was seen by me also, as by one born out of due time.

for I am the least of the apostles, who am not worthy to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. But by the grace of God I am wehat I am, and His grace toward me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all, yet not, I but the grace of God which was with me. Therefore, whether it was I or they, se we preach and so you believed. Now if Christ is presched that He has been raised form the dead, how do some among you say that there is no resurrection fo the dead? But if there is no resurrection of the dead, then Christ is not risen. And if Christ is not risen, then our preaching is empthy and your fait is also empty. YHes, and we are found false witnesses of God, because we have testified of God that He is raised up in Christ, whom Ie did not raise up - if in fact the dead do not rise. For if the dead do not rise, then Christ is not risen. And if Christ is not risen, your faith is futle, you are still in yhour sins! Then also those who have fallen asleep (died) in Christ have perished. If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are all men the most pitiable.

But now Christ is risen from the dead and has become the firstfruists of those who have fallen asleep. For since by man came death (Adam), by Man (Jesus) also cam the resurrection fo the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive.

I thought about your first question after I answered it the first time, and read this passage this morning and wanted to convey it to you.

Makes sense. Athiests don't worry about offending any higher power.

I pity Christians
